Jaljeevka is Partnering with Synergy Maritime Grop to provide a Chakra Scholarship
Jaljeevika, in partnership with Synergy Maritime Group, has initiated the ‘Chakra Scholarship’ program. Our goal is to identify and support deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds, guiding them towards a career in the maritime industry.
The program focuses on offering scholarships for Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS)or General Purpose Rating courses (GP rating). We’ve launched the pilot project in the coastal region of Maharashtra, specifically in the Ratnagiri district, benefiting underprivileged students from across India. The emphasis is on empowering more girls to pursue careers in the Shipping Industry. Additionally, we aim to create future leaders who will empower their families and communities by engaging at the grassroots level in rural areas.
